Teachers

Our instructors are all different, with diverse lives, styles and backgrounds but what is consistent is that all of them are kind, committed and inspirational.

Lien

Founder / Yoga Teacher / Mind-Body Exploration Guide

Lien discovered yoga in 2014 by chance. Initially, she simply enjoyed the lightness and joy she felt after practice, but unexpectedly, her long-term urticaria and sciatica naturally healed with continued practice. This led her to embark on a deeper journey of yoga exploration. Her training encompasses various styles, including Hatha Yoga, Mindfulness Yin Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. She began teaching yoga in 2016, dedicating herself to bringing yoga into more people’s lives.

For her, yoga is not just physical exercise, but a profound inner journey. She believes the body and mind are interconnected—when the inner self opens and surrenders, the body becomes more flexible and powerful. Her teaching integrates life experiences, guiding students to reconnect with themselves and live in the present moment through the connection of breath, stillness, and movement. She believes that the more people understand themselves, the more they can live authentically and follow their own path.

Jenny Fang

Iyengar Yoga Teacher

Jenny suffered from severe cervical spondylosis and frozen shoulder due to a herniated lumbar disc. Through dedicated yoga practice, she fully recovered and became determined to pursue a career as a yoga teacher. She studied under Iyengar lineage teacher John Leebold and participated in an intensive training with Iyengar master Geetaji in 2015. She has continuously deepened her practice by training with Iyengar examiners from various countries and, after moving to the U.S. in 2018, has remained committed to both learning and teaching.

Her teaching style is precise and systematic, with a strong emphasis on observing students’ needs and making accurate adjustments. She guides her students through a progressive practice, helping them experience the profound benefits of yoga on the body.

Her teaching style blends the precise control of Pilates with the flowing breath of yoga, allowing students to build stability while also increasing flexibility and balance. This integrated approach offers a comprehensive way to improve physical function, boost athletic performance, and reduce the risk of pain or injury. Through safe and effective practices, Yan guides her students to find the rhythm that best suits their individual needs.

Maggie

Yoga Teacher / Sound Healing / Family Constellation

Ten years ago, Maggie moved from Hong Kong to New York with a deep belief that yoga is not limited by age or body type. To her, yoga is a personal journey—and a lifelong mirror of self-reflection.

With a background in historic building restoration, she brings the same attention to detail and sense of structure into her teaching, helping students restore balance and strength from the inside out.

Certified in New York in 2016 with a 200-hour yoga teacher training, Maggie has been leading healing yoga classes for many years. She also integrates sound healing and chanting to guide students into deeper states of relaxation.

Karen Ouyang

Yoga Teacher

Karen Ouyang is a yoga teacher based in New York City, specializing in Vinyasa-style instruction. She first came to the practice to support her mental health and navigate depression, and over time discovered strength, lightness, and transformation through consistent practice. This personal journey led her to teach.

Karen was inspired by a teacher who wove mythological stories into class, sparking her view of yoga as a creative, expressive, and deeply meaningful path. She sees yoga not just as asana, but as a way of life rooted in mindful principles and inner work. Her teaching style is gentle, attentive, and centered around the breath. She encourages students to listen to their bodies, honor their needs, and cultivate a deeper mind-body connection through their own choices on the mat.

Tiffany Wu

Yoga Teacher / Personal Trainer / Pilates Trainer

As a speech therapist, she is able to give clear instructions in her teaching and has great passion to share her skills and knowledge in fitness and mobility.
